Ann was concealed three weeks in Woodseaves Coppice while Scotch soldiers under Sir John Stewart were encamped at Aston previous to the battle of Worcester. Sir John preferred sleeping upon a large oak table although better accommodation was offered to him. A part of this table was afterwards converted into a cheese press and in the course of time thrown aside as Useless and finally within the last few years (1872) either burned or lost.
